How Often Should I Change My Air Filters?
At FAST of Florida, we think you should change out air filters every 30-90 days, depending on how many people and pets may be in the home. We advise checking and changing air filters in high-use seasons even more often.

What Size Cooling System Do I Need?
A technical analysis of your home’s building envelope is required to determine the proper-size air conditioning system. A too-large system may make your home uncomfortable; in some cases, it might cause moisture issues. On the other side, having a too-small system for your house will not be efficient enough to fill your home. What’s the Best Temperature to Set My Thermostat?
Of course, the answer to this question depends on the time of the year and your comfort levels. But we have suggestions for the cold and warmer seasons. In winter months, the average temperature setting is 78°-80°. In summer, 70°-72° is around the average setting. Remember, when leaving your home for work or several hours, don’t try to apply very drastic temperature changes. Do not set your temperature back any more than 5° since this will cause standard systems to work harder to achieve the desired temperature setting.

You should have maintenance done on your air conditioning system twice a year. This ensures maximum efficiency and enables us to potentially catch possible problems that might plague you in the near future.
